Tired Is

Tired is waiting for the day to end
Hoping that you can eat before
You go to sleep to be tired tomorrow

Tired is waiting for the doctors
To stop sending you for more tests
And just figure out what's wrong

Tired is waiting for someone close
To contact you on how they're doing
Hoping that they still can.

Tired is thinking life moves too fast
Trying to catch up with all there is to do
And failing misrabely

Tired is believing that there is nothing
In this world that cares for you
And just trying to let go

Tired is waiting to make it
Right for her, doing anything for her
But not knowing if it's what you want

Tired is trying to wake
From the sleepwalk routine
That encompasses out lives

I'm so tired.
